Solar's approach to sourcing and services appeals to an increasing number of customers. Many industry customers choose to focus on their core businesses and let Solar handle and optimise stock and logistics, among other things.

 

On our journey towards becoming a fully-fledged sourcing and services company, we now further strengthen our focus on industry sales.

 

We are pleased to announce that Ole Sørensen will become SVP Industry Sales and join the Solar Group Management as of 1 September 2017.

 

Ole Sørensen, 45 years old, has a diverse background and has had an impressive international career, most lately as COO in Gategroup US. He will be responsible for industry sales in all Solar's Nordic markets.

 

- We are confident that Ole Sørensen is the right person to drive our Scandinavian industry sales organisation in order to approach our customers with cross-national solutions. Cross-country responsibility is ideally suited to industry sales because most of our industry customers are active in several countries.
